The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary offers donkeys in need a loving and forever home in the Wroxall valley, close to Shanklin.

With over 100 donkeys, 15 ponies and a 1 mule, there are plenty of animals to come and say hello to.  All animals are accessible (weather dependant) and with 55 acres, there is plenty of space for the children to enjoy.

The sanctuary offers a range of educational packages. These include opportunities for students to be hands on with the animals and to learn about what the sanctuary does on a daily basis to look after these wonderful animals.

Your school can also visit the Sanctuary for a free of charge self-led visit.
